Long before Seraphina became the Keeper of the Fractured Veil, she was simply a young witch who believed one thing: Light and darkness were never meant to exist without each other.
While other witches chose sides, Seraphina refused. Then, one fateful night, the ancient Fractured Veil shattered, unleashing a force powerful enough to destroy the magical realm. Seraphina stepped into the chaos. The Veil offered her a choice:
Save herself… or become its guardian. She chose the guardian. The Veil fused with her soul, forever splitting her between light and darkness. From that night forward, Seraphina gained the ability to see countless possible futures and manipulate fate itself. But her gift came with a terrible price.
Every future she sees takes a memory from her past. So Seraphina began writing everything down—her childhood, the people she loved, and the moments she never wanted to forget.
Now, centuries later, she protects the balance between light and shadow while carrying journals filled with memories she can no longer remember. She knows how every story could end. But there is one future she fears most: The day she forgets who she is. And if Seraphina forgets herself… the Fractured Veil may shatter with her.
Danyelle
Danyelle was born during a rare green moon, a night when the earth’s energy is at its strongest. From the moment she was born, plants around her home began to grow unnaturally fast—flowers blooming out of season, roots cracking through stone.
As a child, she didn’t understand her power. Wherever she walked barefoot, grass would grow beneath her feet. When she cried, nearby plants would wilt.
She discovered her magic fully the day she found an abandoned, cracked cauldron buried deep in the forest. The moment she touched it, it came to life—glowing with a soft green light.
That cauldron became her anchor.
Over time, she taught herself how to:
harvest rare herbs,
create powerful potions,
and listen to the whispers of the earth itself.
Now, she’s known in the coven as the Root Keeper—the one who keeps balance between magic and nature.
Nova
Nova was not born like her sisters—she was chosen by the cosmos itself. On the night she entered the world, every star in the sky went dark for a single breath… and when they returned, her eyes never opened. The elders feared her immediately. A child born without sight but surrounded by swirling constellations was no ordinary witch.
As she grew, Nova didn’t learn magic—
